First, I must say that this is so far my 4th complete system from Panasonic. My last, what has now been scrapped because of 4K was the SC-BT735. Actually, I was fully satisfied with it, and somehow I do not regret it now so hasty to have switched to a new system from Panasonic. From a technical point nothing to be desired, set the picture with 4K Upscaling the menu is truly impressive in direct comparison to a "normal" Blu-ray player. the settings are also imens, here Panasonic has refilled properly. initially this cross menu navigation is a bit strange, but after a few times you can use it to navigate well. Next I will not go into the details, the first Rezi here has already cut some things. However, a little more detail, I would like to go to the processing and the general impression is that this sets. Here me my first impression was mistaken. The whole set looks at first impression of high quality, but at the latest during assembly but one wonders about those cheap Blender optics. Short one, two kit for assembly: It is indeed doing a manual, however, is nowhere identified as the assembling to go equip. Those who are not so well versed here will be hard, I have at any rate only slightly raetzeln need. Back to processing: As mentioned above makes the set during volatile Consider a good impression. Unfortunately, everything einpuppt as complete Plastikbomber. The players as such consists only of plastic, the top would be by far as high-end aluminum lid perceive, however, is nothing more than apparent in the form of imitation aluminum plastic. The tower speaker are designed very voluminous, but completely hollow plastic also trimmed monster on quality optics down to the screws. Not do the other manufacturers do better, but compared to the model I had before me only makes here a thin and especially cheap plastic feel. The last of then radio unit supplied has me (cube shape) given for the rear speakers. The part is an absolute joke, is it really no longer cheaper. If you still look what Panasonic claims to have for this part in retail, I am already inclined to speak firmly of impudence. Really a foraminous something back with this also cheap-looking speaker terminals (which are, incidentally, also the player behind) and then stinks these cubes yet since my initial startup, it is almost an affront. Once the part is hot müffelt it sharpish sourly as if the whole cheap plastic from condensing out part is out. Cable fire it is not, the smells different - I know or knew such odors so far only of cheap audio equipment. A look at Panasonic in Audio Accessories Wireless dice to, right next to it is still the old wireless audio system, you can already see in the pictures which made a better impression. Compared to my old system that even largely of plastic was but a much more massive and made more stable feel, this is a big step back towards cheap processing. Too bad Panasonic, the better. System goes anyway back - despite the 31kg - 28kg expect determined on the subwoofer by all components this time (finally) has failed decent size and even at the end leaves the best impression.
Postscript: Yesterday, the high-pitched whirring noise of the fan are a film is permanently struck me. In quiet scenes does that sound like hum in the speakers. The unit is open to about 50 cm from the TV. Blessed is the one load / drawer has where the equipment is housed. Otherwise, this is absolutely unacceptable. Add to this the rumgezickt yesterday the player. For about 30 minutes I tried to get a Blu-Ray to run, the player has always turned off when I play on Blu-Ray went in the menu or have pushed directly to play. All of the buttons on the remote control have no function except to / from the went. Even directly on the device has the player the service refused to play. So no offense, but that part is really an indictment of Panasonic. I'll buy any if no home theater systems from Panasonic. Too bad ....
