The first CD contains with "Live At The Atlantic Studios" the most amazing radio recording, recorded before a small audience - raw and snotty. Following the release of the brilliant "Let There Be Rock" album. This live recording is for me with his gritty, dirty sound of the most brilliant concert recordings of rock gods. Yes it really is my favorite concert recording of the band at all. Atmosphere and song selection are simply great tennis better way to raw, unvarnished Rock`n`Roll hardly present. Herrlich.
CD two andd three contain recordings from Paris that were gemachrt for the film "Let There Be Rock". Includes the songs are not in the film - were visible - or only cut. Since the concert after the release of the last album with Bon (Highway To Hell) was recorded, we get a nice overview of the complete Bon phase the band in live sound. There are some songs from those live recordings rarely hear are (Walk All Over You) and an overall good show of but the magic is missing. The band plays Top (objectively better than on CD1) and Bon sings really great - but the show lacks the element that makes a show about something besoderem. The precisely what even the best band hinbekommt not any, but only on special evenings, missing here. Nevertheless, a great addition to the collection makes the 100% Fun.
CD contains four studio recordings, zBdie Australian version of "It`s A Long Way ...." which is simply cut only slightly different from the known version - and some demos. For instance with "Dirty Eyes" a kind of working version vo what time to "... Rosie" would later be, and a version of "Touch ..." which besides the title virtually nothing to do with the well-known version - but also quite monotonous comes along.
Can criticize you on this new edition, published originally in 1997 Box it the superimposed CDs is very awkward to be taken from the packaging or hineinzubekommen this back there. The principle (and associated Proleme) are the same as in the new editions of the 50/60's and 70 boxes of Elvis Presley. Here, however, as there is true: the price and the music contained much excuse.
The booklet is illustrated pretty and pleasant to read the liner notes. The addition of Back in Black as I said rather superfluous but bearable (the quality of the album is always out of the question).
Overall, inspite of small problems is an absolute must-have for lovers of earthy rock'n'roll!
