The idea is excellent and allows us to explore new possibilities for the future of the thriller. The action remains the key word in this pure SF novel. No time, just enough time to take his breath at times and it plunges. However this may be the problem. Wanting to give too, the author loses a bit and the main plot so promising initially disintegrates a little on arrival. Despite this drawback, it's still a good time relaxing rather intelligent. The SF elements are always used wisely and well argued. The ideas are not put there as a fact but still challenged to make us think.
