After the many good customer reviews, I decided to buy these beads. Upon opening the package, I also could not detect any odor and have filled the beads in my Fatboy. There they are now since about 2 weeks. Since then, the Fatboy smelling chemical when you sit on it, and after about half an hour in Fatbox, catch my eye at me to tears and is slightly dizzy - the Fatboy is now since a few days on the balcony to air out - I hope I did not make it completely useless by these pearls - would strongly advise against the purchase !!!
