Patrick Cassidy is wrongly relatively unknown with us. All his CDs between classical - Irish Pop & shine like diamonds. Whenever I hear the first notes of Deirdre of Sorrow I think of the Lord of the Rings. It would have been the perfect soundtrack music for the wonderful landscapes. The music stands out with classical melodies and the beautiful voices of the choir and the soloists. The music is dramatic, moving and reflective. Perfect Music - a listening experience
