Unfortunately, the rubber has a rather nasty smell, which has indeed eased the transpiring outdoors, but is still present.
For my taste, plastic just does not smell, everything else points to low production and associated negative consequences towards (Tags: plasticizer and carcinogenic)
Since I wear gloves during installation work, I will refrain from doing the return, but it was just too low.
