Barney Stinson delivers the world of men the Bro Code after each Bro has hold or will prosecuted via the hardest, because even the best wingman, can, if he does not adhere to the rules, be released from his status .....
Small excerpt:
Q: What is a Bro?
A: A Bro is a person who would give you the shirt off when he no longer needs it. A Bro is a person who is a leg would bend over for helping you to tear someone else a leg. In short, a Bro is a lifelong friend, to whom you can always rely on you, unless he has just what else to do.
~~~ My opinion ~~~
Having generally of "How I Met Your Mother"'m a huge fan of Barney Stinson, and I just had to read this collection of rules and I found it quite inspiring.
First presentation: Here the publisher has done a great job. The rules are clear, can be seen in huge font and graphics adorn many a page.
What I particularly liked the sides were intended to look "old", ie, yellowing, even if the VLT in black and white came across not as good :) As Hardcover it would have been even better had more hergemacht, but there'd at lose portability; D
The comments are partly really awesome. Some of them are already known from the series, others completely new, as far as I can judge at least (after I've already seen all the previous episodes: D)
Various funny comments and quiz possibilities make things even more lively and elicit a more than once a smirk.
However, I imagined the book a little amusing. Although "Barney" or Matt Kuhn bring everything clean at the man, but sometimes has an explanation or a sharp-tongued remark I missed with various rules.
But otherwise it's absolutely interesting read for men and women.
~~~ Conclusion ~~~
Whether young or old, whether man or woman - everyone should be a bit more like Barney, what etrifft wit and humor. This Codex will definitely bring fresh air to the world readers. I forgive 4 of 5 clouds and a High Five!
My sincere thanks to Dan Riva-Verlag for their active support.
