After "The Social Network" the rise of electronic scores was not surprising, after all, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross granted the Oscar with their strange yet harmonious work from. Also "Hanna" is such an electronic and dominated by powerful beats soundtrack, which makes for a grandiose and unique atmosphere. Large main themes do not exist, except for the harmonious and scary sounding "Hanna's Theme", which is also played only the first and last track. There are also a recurring motif in "The Devil Is In The Details" and "The Devil Is In The Beats". A very happy and cheerful melody that but this looks rather eerie and disturbing. Otherwise, such as "Escape 700" the score is kept very atonal, with many sound, impressive pieces, "Car Chase", "Station Rumble" or "Container Park". "Hanna" shows impressively how effectively can act electronic scores. And it is the Chemical Brothers are masters with the beats. While Daft Punk have very much in the style Media Ventures, the Brothers rely on their own way. Although this may appear to be confused and twisted CD for classical film music lovers, fans of the Chemical Brothers or even the film will enjoy this disc. Nevertheless, I recommend at least once purely to hear. "Hanna" is a perfect example of how the score can listen today for me.
With 50 minutes get a solid amount of music, very nice thing is that there is no interruption between songs and it also works well here. Most disturbs me this method in some scores, but it fits here.
A buy recommendation can I say quiet because "Hanna" has absolutely convinced me, because the soundtrack a treat between the myriad 0 8 15 soundtracks nowadays. Like more of it!
