Have the Rode VidoMic Pro not bought here on Amazon, but with a bit of luck very reasonably priced by a (probably unnerved) resellers. Should he have been unnerved, then perhaps only because of the problematic battery replacement. The necessary manipulations of the battery insertion are still in complete contradiction to the entire handling and functionality of the microphone. The designer, who has concocted this part of the unit is one, but in the pillory. Or :) Otherwise, the Rode has a very good quality of workmanship. The filigree suspension and the somewhat complicated aufzuziehende Katzenfell guarantee, for example, on the LUMIX GH2, an excellent sound, recorded in the parlor as just around the corner in the present icy wind. Why but for an extra plug an adapter needs, when most cameras are equipped with smaller MUs rather than jack with 3.5mm jack, is the question. But bottom line is the Rode VideoMic Pro is highly recommended and should in any videographer in the camera bag - to find - packed safely!
