The delivered item clatters to the parallel port and also the connection between the cable and connector housing is not fixed and is shaking a lot. It is therefore only a matter of time before this connection breaks. Also show the bad cast hard plastic parts that here allerbilligste China goods have been delivered. I have rarely seen such poor product quality!
The adapter has adjusted its service after two months. We bought the pictured blue cable for almost 30 euros through another dealer. That was a lot more expensive, but so does our HP LaserJet 1100 under Windows 7 64bit.
Conclusion: I would not buy this product again.
