Use the holiday of a veteran Samsung P55 laptop to edit my RAW files (photo) with Lightroom 5.5. This required the partial acceleration or runnability of Soft:
Windows XP> W732 Pro
500GB HDD> 500 GB SSD

Installation process:
1.SSD in an existing external enclosure (BLACK BOX) with SATA / (USB 2.0 / eSATA connector plugged
2. Clone the HDD to SSD Samsung via Acronis True Image on P55 USB 2.0 port
3. SSD installed in P55
4.schneller start W7PRO as expected. Lightroom is now running liquid
5. Download the Samsung Magician software and made a few adjustments

Conclusion:
Investment has paid off (SSD may indeed later in a newer notebook hike) and a few euros saved by ordering the SSD Basic Version
