We have worked in practice with a determined 15 year old Oki matrix printer. The pressure is largely converted to blank form printing by laser printer for years. However, there are a few areas of application where a dot matrix printer is still useful as BTM recipes with punches, index cards, etc. After the previous dot matrix printer has made slow issues, the question has been asked whether we can in the future not entirely dispense with dot matrix printers. We decided against it and not regret it. The new device is incredibly small footprint half the old printer. Easy decor, very solid piece of equipment and recipes are conveniently drawn forward, just hold out form and whoosh, it is drawn in and the printer is ready. This is going so well that we just the classic red recipe be printed directly from the Laser certain recipes (green, private, BTM) again to print to the printer and needle.
