Iron Maiden top form

Basically, "Torgo" The Master would not approve "" already written the most important. especially here is the declassification of "The wickerman", which in my opinion, absolutely one of the strongest maiden title meant. Too bad that there are no reviews on the rezensoren, then I would do that is aware that the German used (readability etc.) reflects the seriousness of the article. However, before I go into the reviewers, I try rather to strengthen (rather frequent) and weaknesses (rarely) the album further emphasized.

However, to enable a comparison with other rezensoren, I'll do it in the right way and treat each title. (Even if the album should be really seen as a whole)

1. The Wickerman

As already mentioned, I can not understand the declassification of the title easily. a brilliant powerchordriff beginning, the best solos that maiden ever had in an album that is refrain the hammer, and the importance of the last part of the song really understand, you should listen once the live version. (Rock in Rio)

2. Ghost of the Navigator

That the title has a quiet beginning, I probably need not mention (even if ichs just made) that it stop after the clean part (the guitar effect is meant) harder is not. The song is very good, but definitely not belongs to the strongest titles of the CD. especially the chorus is rather maiden average, than that he stands out. the verse vocals is sometimes too melidiös, partly the 2nd part of the verse makes it up for it though. (Take my heart, and set it free ...)

3. Brave New World

Ingenious guitar intro, really a beautiful melody, the voice of Bruce follows the guitar. As mentioned in a review on the DVD "Rock in Rio" here is particularly apparent the "melidiöse" drumming. the chorus is very good, but average Maiden like Ghost of the Navigator Iron.

4. Blood Brothers

the title is suitable for anyone who seeks perfection in a heavy metal song. already (also) clean-intro with string accompaniment appears "here comes something very big to me." In my opinion, the song has the most beautiful melodies (guitar technically), the maiden has ever written. the chorus declaims with wickerman bet to which, although Blood Brothers but a little is one step ahead.

extremely nice and "epic" midsection. (Which are meant guitar melodies, which are to be included provide no more than solo, but just as melodies)

5. The Mercanery

purely objective point of view one would have to think "Finally no CLEAN-start" (as in the 3 titles previously). and although it objectivity actually does not exist, I think viewed subjectively, that it does not really matter. the iron maiden can do both perfectly. also distorts a good tune, great results transition piece between verse and chorus (Nowhere to Run ...), which is already a huge earwig. should repeat itself when text passages (in which a chorus yes average enough, actually is so common) the song will never get bored, which can be attributed not only to the short duration (for maiden ratios). Furthermore, here too beautiful guitar melodies included. The overall effect is, however, not to the class of wickerman and Blood Brothers zoom.

6. Dream of Mirrors

This song has a very unusual intro for maiden, I do not like it, but to get to the rest of the song, you have to listen to it halt. and it really pays off! As mentioned in many other reviews unfolds the song very slowly (brilliant verse, genius intermediate part (All my hopes and expectations, looking for an explanation ...), and which was also mentioned. It is a good thing in the chorus (the After about 3 minutes for the first time uses) would you most like to stand out. and the last chorus that's still like that. (and the song takes 9einhalb minutes) mainly is due to the ingenious tempo changes and the general fun of the title.

7. The Fallen Angel

Now that's a real heavy metal start. Great title, a short (applies again for maiden ratios), fast blast, the trumps with a catchy chorus. because the song is very short, it comes out with a few more parts, hence there is not so much to write. the rating should be enough:

8. The Nomad

Oriental sounds, many half steps, sometimes a completely different sound. the title is responsible for general fun on the CD and is very experimental. long it takes me to chant begins, until then is to try and cut the foot to the beat to the ground. brilliant chorus (sung about higher from minute 2:30. From this point, you will feel as if you were as high float, such as Bruce's voice is), a brilliant verse, brilliant central part (sometimes very quiet) ...

9. Out of the Silent Planet

wiedermal rather quieter start, albeit distorted first. maiden-usual "louder" after the intro. (Ie 3tte guitar as powerchordbegleitung it;), and the vote increase of the singer)

one can really say nothing against the song, even though I do not even like to hear so as Blood Brothers, for example. through the central part again (as with almost every title) reinforcing the chorus to feel like walking on clouds.

10. The Thin Line Between Love and Hate

sounds something different from the previous titles, that's drums to auszucken cool (especially the chorus). Toller between part (though a bit ... Hammerfall Light (if you know what I mean) text;)).

diversified guitar melodies, and a "little" change in the choruses make wiedermal for an extremely successful song.

Conclusion: a CD, which has gathered in my playlist as a whole. (And this creates not really any cd)
