Scandals, Volume 1: A infréquentable Viscount (Paperback)

Customer Review

This is a historical romance that I like, perfect for the holidays!

I immediately hung on the author's style, I found cheerful and full of humor. I especially like when the characters have repartee, and we can say without fear here that this is the case.

It is rare that I really like a hero, because for me they all look a bit too much, especially in historical romances, but I felt great affection for Joan. This great too round perch is not a Fury, as it is called Tristan, but a young woman who slowly emerges from its chrysalis. His character reminded me a little of that left behind in the series of Lisa Kleypas Seasonal Round. Its aftershocks have made me laugh a lot, including his passion for Fifty way to lose (the title is much like some other book that silent here the name of course). And what a magazine! Lady Constance pranks are really crisp.

But I get lost, let us return to Joan and Tristan. I think they are a very nice couple both. Certainly Tristan hardened and charming the ladies singles ranks a little too easily, but then he is captivated by Joan, the poor. Their verbal sparring has delighted me and I really enjoyed reading all their scenes. Here no complicated plot twists or grotesque, only two young people of strong character who can not help but look.

So, if like me you like historical romances made of scandals and dialogues removed, you will be filled!
