But do I really read the story I just finished ??? When I was offered this novel, I was anything but "hot" ... Indeed, no hard thrillers I was not very motivated to start (and therefore finish !!!) a novel of this kind. Much good to me still getting started. Indeed, we are immersed in the story of a young Californian who decides to go to the other side "of the country" (history away from its unworthy parents) to study at a University of Vermont. Once there, the young man decides to opt for the Greek being major. But this choice is going to be her first time refused for unknown or illegitimate reasons. Then he will finally be able to join. There, he discovers a class of 05 students with one teacher (or almost) and as nebulous environment is captivating. After a few weeks to practice ostrich policy (unconsciously) the newcomer will slowly acclimate to its new surroundings and his new comrades (and vice versa). So everything seems to be going well for "surfer Vermont"; except that it is the opposite that is preparing ...
An extraordinarily rich in intrigue novel, where the suspense is matched only by the cloud that surrounds the main characters. One small problem though: some twists could have been avoided, which would have brought some speed to the story. But all content is breathtaking.
