I have to devour this book a wonderful rainy weekend behind me, which I have spent with it. This book is simply wonderfully suited to the world to forget about him. How many times I've read this book, I do not know. Since I have discovered about 50 years ago Georgette Heyer for me, this is probably already been a number of times the case. It is - how many books the author - the best reading in order to survive crises and hard times, but of course also suitable for nice short breaks in normal everyday life. It is easy to recommend to anyone who puts in an easy, but not undemanding reading value. It's funny, has witty dialogues, original types, bizarre situations, very very nice English, etc. I had bought as a replacement for its predecessor entirely well-thumbed copy of this; it is a particularly beautiful and very well readable output and therefore highly recommended. If anyone can give a type which author wrote similar beautiful books, I would be very grateful. My previous attempts with other authors of Regencyromanen had little or no success.
