That's it! We have arrived! After years of water crate dragging we finally dared to buy us a Sodastream soda water! And us, the question arises: Why not a long time ago?!?!

Our Sodastream has for several months now in daily use. And he ooze oodles of soda without problems.

Is supplied the unit with a full carbon dioxide cartridge and two white bottles. The color of the unit is apple green in beautiful. Change can be easy the cartridge. Bubbling at your fingertips should not be gerlernt. After only a little practice you quickly get a feel for how many times you have to press it to bring about a just for themselves coordinated bubble content in the water. This part takes up hardly any space away. Soda bottles can be exchanged in almost every supermarket with a new one. Those who like to have soda, also found everywhere syrup. Please fill the waters only up to the line on the bottle, otherwise it bubbles over. An important note we would previously also did not know that the bottles are to be used only for 2 years. Sure, if you look over time makes thoughts, it's still plastic and that's eventually end up with frequent use with carbonated beverages. The bottles are not dishwasher safe and should not be rinsed with hot water. But there is to buy dishwasher-safe bottles, but we have not had good experiences with it.

But let us come times to 60 liters, which can supposedly can gush with a cartridge: NO to come, it is not possible absolutely only partly to the 60 liter tuned! For I have a statistic made: We gush every liter bottle with approximately 3-5 times it press. This corresponds to a normal sparkling sodas, any medium. For every bottle I made a dash. We arrived after 5 cartouches on average just 36-42 liters carbonated water per cartridge !!! How should one go to 60 liters ?! Believe me, there would be so little bubble in the water that you could possibly drink the water right out of the tap. My liter soda costs so about 17 cents. Since I got the water from the tap now not counting, only the carbon dioxide.

I lead times pros and cons on, this is based on my honest personal opinion and of course experience:

+ Great Design
+ Easy operation
+ Unit is robust and well finished
+ Environmentally friendly
+ No tiresome crate dragging more

- Cartridge no bubbles 60 liters as advertised, only 40 liters at normal high Spudelbläschen
- Bottles are not dishwasher safe
- Bottles nachzukaufen bit pricey

Conclusion: The liter soda is already more expensive as the price per liter soda from the discounters! But it is effective as the famous brand soda. In addition, you can save the crate dragging. It does already something for the environment, because many a box bubble travels through half of Germany until it is in our supermarket. And for the little bubble must surely rolling tens of trucks on the roads. I want my Sodastream not miss and can recommend it to anyone.
