This book is more of a novel written in the first person than anything else.
This is an account honest enough to dive into the world of drag, and its gurus past or future (as the invading Tyler).
And it is especially a rather drab novel, if not sinister at times. The world of drag is not the most pleasant world that is, and read this book allows to set foot on land.
It also ends up wondering what kind of woman techniques dredgers attract.
And we end up concluding that it reads very well, it is generally quite funny and addictive, and it makes you think without seem real. A true novel.
