In principle, a very practical solution. However, it can happen quickly that the holding part is pulled to the side where the tendon is clamped incorrectly beyond the arc. Then the leather tears immediately. Although the jig is still usable, but the edge protection for the (wood) bow is no longer given when tensioning if necessary. Moreover, it is a pity that no slip stronger material (eg leather / rubber combination) has been processed. This means that the clamping forces increase as the holding side very easily slips towards centerpiece and thus the force distribution is unfavorable.
