Michael Crichton, King technothriller, creator of Jurassic Park and Emergency back with a manipulation of history amid climate changes. However, this is not a classic thriller that it offers. Taking the opposite of the image that is usually made conservationists, he shows us a harmful environmental organization and will do anything to get his way. And once will not hurt, it is the manufacturers who have the starring role in working for the common good. If this starting arguement can shock, the controversy aroused by the book when it came out in the US is there to testify, it can also be a source of reflection because it attacks the clichés "politically correct" by showing us that the views of each other are not necessarily rigid. This can cause us to re-examine on what we take for granted, global warming, for example. This starting point, original, is processed briskly, according to the custom of the author, no downtime, with action and suspense at every page almost. The book reads very well and so we can simply see that there are excellent novel of action if one does not adhere to theses Crichton. My only regret is the lack of thickness of the characters, only there to give body to a narrative primarily due to shocks ideas.
