Ivy, restyled with short hair (much better than their synthetic hair mane), held on beautiful pictures and with usual insanely good soul voice.
The first time you listen to the CD I thought: "Well!" The album is different and getting used to for some. You have to listen to the CD, and especially "Dancing Dynamite" has put me off at first, but the more often I hear the songs the better I like them and now I'm thrilled.
Very good I think "Cursed By You", "Paint Your Love", a duet with Ron Sexsmith "Imaginary Friends", "Supernatural" and is particularly successful Rob Knox's "After All This Time", with a great catchy melody and the Text "After all this time your bood Runs Deep with mine" that will not go for days out of my head, but I think the band version (Live at JOIZ) even better, as it is with me at "300 Years".
Live with band Ivy large class and a surprise, because they can really sing. A "Breakaway" or "Wildfire" with frequent change of breast to head voice is not easy to sing and there are not many singers in Germany, this is live !!! so brilliantly mastered as ivy quainoo. I therefore hope a live CD (Universal please !!!! - and then with Not a Lady (Bauhaus version) Cover of Erykah Badu's You Got Me, Midnight Moon, American Boy).
Negative I find the lack of lyrics in the album booklet!
Conclusion: 1 star deduction for the missing lyrics, but 10 stars for the "total package Ivy" = 5 stars! Very good album!
