IXUS 500 HS with experience

I wanted a small, lightweight camera that I can take you on tours of all kinds and the fit for good image quality as well as for snapshots. Exactly the area covers the camera for me. It is relatively easy, despite metal housing. Processing I think that is excellent, no rattling or wobbling that moving parts run smoothly without play, the buttons partially described as too small, can be personalized with hands the size "L" properly operate.
The display is clear, sharp and bright features. The camera is very quick to deploy, the zoom / wide angle covers all in my opinion needed areas and the images are shot quickly. The tripping time is so short that snapshots be no problem. The image quality is excellent and leaves for my applications to any criticism. With many image programs can also with some time romps effects bring in the photo collection.
In summary, I say:

- Top quality
- Good battery life
- Super camera "always take", for tour-documentary or party pictures.
Certainly SLR and 5-6 lenses able to shoot better pictures, but you have to know what you want. I am convinced of the IXUS 500 HS and would (currently understood) decide again for them.
