RULE (Audio CD)

Customer Review

What was the excitement after his last album, "Blood In My Eye" big. Too short, too hard, too unbelievable. Instead of concentrating on its strengths and to give the fans what they wanted from Yes, he produced a pure Diss album, which is addressed to his nemesis 50 Cent. Ja Rule probably recognized himself that he had a little exaggerated and he again put in the recording of "RULE" more emphasis on chilling song with R & B flavor, but also a few harder numbers are what the album very varied designed. Many consider the first single "Wonderful" for cheap, soft or poppy. I see it completely differently. For me, this is a brilliant track. The Guitar Instrumental is just great, chilled and dynamic at the same time. Full blast, it is the purest sound bomb. Ja Rule performs usual horny with his style of rap and singing. This is refined by the excellent performances by R & B R. Kelly and Ashanti God that complement each other great. The second single "New York" is a real hammer. The beat comes from Miami's top producers Cool & Dre, is medium fast and includes cool sounds in the background. The Rhymes of Yes, Fat Joe and Jadakiss, who can shine particularly in Hook, are not bad. Again very, very relaxed, "The Manual". The instrumental is again a midtempo beat and a guitar melody. In my opinion, it is made for Ja Rule, for he raps better than me and deepen Lyrics, moreover, sings the refrain of something cool that you get goosebumps when you turn the system. From something harder caliber is "Gun Talk" with Black Child. The beat is dry, just really good. He is backed by a piano piece and shots of various weapons, which sounds very impressive. Even the vocals of both fit really good to really great above all Yes's half sung, half gerappter Hook is. Murder Inc. singer Lloyd support Ja Rule on the catchy "Caught Up", but also with "Where I'm From" it is part of it. A wonderfully quiet song that goes one due to Yes's hoarse voice during the verses and Lloyd's great singing in the chorus right under the skin. Actually, almost as good as all the tracks managed although there are one or two average, but not bad. Also really good are the harder "Last Of The Mohicans" with Black Child, the oriental-inspired Party Smash "Get It Started" with Claudette Ortiz of City High, theme song "Rule", the more serious "Never Thought" and last but not least the slightly harder "Bout My Business" with Caddillac Tah, Black Child and Young Merc. Ja Rule convinced as always with sensible and good lyrics, a unique Rapstyle and very well selected instrumentals. The guests are not bad, but the rapper to Black Child or Caddilac Tah can not keep up with Jeffery "Yes" Atkins by far, for the singers, the better. After streaky predecessor "RULE" absolutely the right answer has been. Although it can not quite keep up with "Venni Vetti Vecci" or "The Last Temptation", but is still more than recommended. Everyone who listen to this album still maintains 50 cents would be the better, definitely has no idea of high-quality music. For any fan of Ja Rule is a must, as well as those who are looking for a good and chill plate making, with "RULE" nothing wrong.
