Manufacturer:
Mondelez Germany GmbH
PO Box 107840
28078 Bremen
Reference location and price:
The capsules are available in every grocery store and costs EUR 2.99 per 10 pack or offer even less. Or they ordered on the Internet.
Product Information:
This I have partly taken over by the manufacturer.
The Lungo coffee is available in 4 different varieties. I have tested the Lungo Magnifico. He has the intensity 8. A dark roasted coffee with a smoky nutty note.
The capsules are suitable for the Nespresso machine.
Lungo means long and this means that coffee is prepared with more water than an espresso coffee.
Smell and Crema:
The coffee smells delicious and aromatic.
The crema is very little and passes very quickly when the coffee is. For me, a minus point because I love coffee crema.
The Taste:
Since the coffee is indeed prepared with more water than an espresso, it is quite watery and therefore not my taste. Although I do not like very strong espresso, but this Lungo be watery and bland.
The aftertaste is bitter.
Conclusion:
I would buy the coffee was not necessarily because it is too watery and the crema is not maintained too long. The original Nespresso capsules are superior to those of Jacobs clearly in this case.
What also bothers me at the Jacobs capsule is the many packaging. The result is a lot of rubbish, since each capsule is individually wrapped.
