Surely everyone knows the story of Jay-Z, who with his debut published in 1996 a milestone in hip-hop, then however with only mediocre and very commercial "Lifetime" series very disappointed. However, with the first "Blueprint" managed the Jigga, to rise again from the grave, which he had dug with its average own albums. He pledged for the high-profile beats Producer like Just Blaze, Kanye West or Timbaland, remembered on the essentials and wrote good articles that have nothing to do with issues such as money, cars, etc. and blended with the whole soul and honesty. One of the most sensational songs is "Takeover", the answer to Nas' "Ether" in which he dissed Nas Nasty and Prodigy of Mobb Deep viciously. The beat comes to Kanye West, who it sat on rock samples from The Doors and David Bowie and thus handed in a very dynamic background for the hard rhymes of J-Hova. The hit single "Izzo (HOVA)" also comes from Kanye. This beat is also top notch and Jay-Z is doing his best to make this song a real smash. My favorite song of "The Blueprint" is clearly "Jigga That Nigga", a fast, Oriental Beat is backed by flutes and tambourines and going just right. Of course, Jay-Z raps world class here. Another real highlight is "Heart of the City", which was again produced by Kanye West. Again, everything is right, especially the soulful instrumental and vocal in Hook are simply a dream. Actually, Jay-Z has hitherto done everything right and was well on the way to a 5 star album, but unfortunately there with "All I Need" and "Song Cry" only average songs that are just too quiet and after several Paint listen are quite boring, even if you have to praise J-Hova for his real good lyrics. "Renegade" many consider an ingenious track, but almost no one knows that this song actually Eminem's former boyfriend Royce da 5'9 '' is. Sure, Em's beat is very good and also the performances of Slim Shady and Jay-Z are not bad, but if you know the outstanding stock, which unfortunately ended up only on the Internet, you know that this version can not quite keep up. Very successful are the two bonus tracks "Breathe Easy" by Just Blaze and the "Girls, Girls, Girls" remix, which comes from the hands of Kanye and I like it much better than the original because it just has a really chilly Instrumental, great Singing in Hook and Jigga at its best offers. Other very well become songs are produced by Timbaland Club Banger "Hola 'Hovito" that hard "U Do not Know" and the calm, serious "Blueprint (Momma Loves Me)", which can also inspire and you look just like to listen. All in all, Jay-Z a very good album that has everything, therefore is very varied, very good lyrics and involves simply made for the love of music. It is probably the second best album in Jigga's career, but because the phenomenal "Reasonable Doubt" is the benchmark for me, it is not enough for "The Blueprint" all to 5 star. Jay-Z fans have this album of course have on the shelf, but also all the others would be very well advised to make a purchase.
