It's true. Each Bond score, was in charge of Barry was, and still is an absolute masterpiece, but no one comes close to the style and class of the greatest '60s hits "Goldfinger". With quick-witted, and also gentle instruments Barry succeeded a wonderful piece of music together with his excellent orchestra. Whether the harmonic Goldfinger Theme in "Alpine Drive" or the effervescent drumroll of "Dawn Raid On Fort Knox", in any case, it is clear that John Barry created an inimitable work. Shirley Bassey delivers its part by singing the rousing Goldfinger song and so thrilled an audience of millions. No matter how the film is evaluated as such, the music score of "Goldfinger" was, is and will be fabulous, irresistible and a real must for every John Barry fan. In "Goldfinger" the Bond composer has really proved that he has a "golden touch" for his subject.
