Swivel head or not?
That's the difference with other models from Braun. Models with swivel heads have a button to lock the head ... It facilitates precision if we are to insist on an area. The pivoting head gives comfort to go over the entire surface of the beard without twisting the wrist.
In the shower or in the mirror?
Because a mirror in the shower, it gets wet, fills with mist, and is not practical in the end. I have not tested this function under water so. Accustomed to shave "dry", I find that the hair apparent advantage, with little (no, NOT) irritation. The side "waterproof" object allows use with peace of mind in a bathroom, or the risk of ending up in the water is not small. It also allows a flushing head under the tap. That's important.
For another comparison, the models come with the charging / cleaning station are in my opinion gadgets for sale recharge cleaner. Each attempt to clean my shaver heads (nickel result; head to the new air once perfectly dry), I had stinging first following uses. The best is the enemy of the good here. Rinsing with water (and even occasionally, especially if water is hard) enough.
As regards the choice between dry shaving, moist, there is no rule. It is for you, depending on your sensitivity, irritation of the skin, or for comfort, even for fun, you choose what suits you.
The "shaving foam" could also be a compromise between a manual and an electrical shaver. It does not take a thick foam, otherwise it will quickly clog the head. Prefer mount a foam to the old, wet enough in this case.
Most:
- Revenge carrying case is perfect. Unless you want to carry the charger cable, it will put it elsewhere.
- The charging cable that plugs into the device, so that even after empty battery, you can at least shave, with the wire. I might add, the competitor needing a base to make contact and charge its battery. Once the cycle of finished battery, razor shall serve no more. Braun, even when the battery is "dead", razor done its job, with a good old strings attached.
- The grip of the razor with wet hands.
Cons:
- Braun made the economy of a protective cover of the head, which is essential for everyday use, when the device is at hand on the shelf, sink. A shot in the grid, and presto, there's more that change. This is unfortunate.
- The absence of the swivel head, who has tasted it. If this is your first razor, you can make a difference in over 10 years (the lifespan of the battery) model when you switch services.
Conclusion: VERY attractive price for entry level makes just as great.
