The method itself now.
This is a methodology taken from the Zen methodology (or chan for Sinologists).
No "vital energy" chakras no bathmat and unnecessary complicated stuff and especially for those who want only to focus and gain perspective on his life.
Just Attention: pay attention to your breathing, either sitting or lying down for 10, 20 or 30 minutes, walking, etc ...
I strongly suggest you start by sitting meditation 10 minutes daily for one to three weeks (ten minutes is what even for a business setting? Time for a cigarette break ... + coffee).
Once the pace caught, you'll have time to do longer sessions.
This method could be called "Zen for zero", because of its pragmatic level, and its direct physiological effects: I let you observe blood flow to your extremities late in the session if you have done well, sign a deep relaxation (but not sought avidly;) !!)
I think many today err in methods "new age" that make them waste time looking "energy" that few people in our latitudes has the opportunity to develop (but of course all World claims experience in the spiritual universe web ... LOL). Here you are taught just "here and now", which is applicable to your whole day, all your activities, and decreases your stress dramatically.
Sometimes the most profound things are the simplest.
