I found this very interesting book, because its author seems very well built, down to earth; his arguments are how to say, "robust" and in good faith. References are made to Buddhism in an explicit way, and no particular proselytizing. He explains that meditation is a technique of mental health, nothing more but nothing less. He noted that medicine generally interested in curing diseases or psychological disorders but do not go beyond. Then we can go further and seek to significantly improve well-being, through careful observation of thoughts, their causes and their consequences. The central belief, and that this in itself while trying to demonstrate is that everyone is a potential Buddha: kindness and compassion are at the heart of man, the evil solely from ignorance esteem. The book refers to many scientific and philosophical publications.
