Perhaps some remember the mission in the SWF 3 (now SWR 3) About Long listener requests. From there, music recordings have been sent, which, if any, are today rarely. The pieces for more than 10 minutes (note a single page) or even went through two LP sides.
Younger readers of my review will forgive me. This is back already 40 years old and the particularity of the time can now hardly comprehend.

So who likes the solid, earthy blues. Here he is. On two CDs, earlier double LP.
On the second CD (LP) then the piece Refried Boogie live.
The Canned Heat fans will forgive me here that I do not particularly mention the other pieces. They are also exceptionally well. Whether Pony Blues, My Mistake, Sandys Blues and, and, and, ...

So, either enthusiasm or resent my review of Canned Heat Living the Blues.
To those, like me, have the double-LP:
Do not expect too much more sound, just because there are CDs. It is worthwhile anyway. And if it is only a matter depending on your mood, to have the choice between vinyl and CD sound.
