Those like me who is far and long tours in the mountains, white light luggage appreciate. This lens is due to the light weight in conjunction with the equally lightweight D3300 for me therefore irreplaceable. The picture quality is good considering the construction, certainly better than that of a compact camera. With Lightroom I get totally into being respectable results. You can complain about the missing hood, the missing lens pouch, and the cheap rear lens cap.
