Already the first song, "Sam's Town" going crazy right ear and is a grand opening for an excellent album.
Followed the opener of "Enterlude", a short but beautiful opening track that Brandon Flowers sings alone, accompanied only by herself on the piano. It is nice that the album is the Gegenpendant "Exitlude" where attune all four Killers together ended.
Sam's Town combines my opinion as many highlights of the Killers, that it is difficult to find a favorite. But my personal highlight is "Why do I keep counting?". I love this song easy!
"My List" is a beautiful ballad to dream.
"Bones," "This River is Wild" and "For Reasons Unknown" are pop-rock and immediately go into the ear.
"Read My Mind" was the first song of the Killers, I have ever heard, so this song has always been a special meaning for me. The text and the melody are just beautiful.
As the title of this review says: The Killers at their best, Sam's Town, an absolutely recommendable purchase!
