King of blocks

Caveat: Of course, to evaluate a product in this price range differently than a more expensive brand-name receiver. So you may be surprised neither by the lack of an on / off switch located at such a product, even on the cheap plastic feel of the remote control, nor about the miserable German and the lousy pictures in the manual. Even with a fairly short connection cable to be reckoned with these days well. Copper is expensive. Gift.

But I expect a DVB-T receiver that it transforms the data received from a good amplified antenna signals into television images. In pictures without blocks. My old receiver (also lowest price class) could. This one does not. The antenna and its position has not changed. The OptimusS teres SD shows a signal strength of almost 80% and a signal quality above 95%, still occur frequently and although image noise:

- If you dare a USB data carrier (Stick / HDD / SSD) to operate in the appropriate socket. Timeshift and PVR are thus unusable. (: Stick a stud here, a stud because without cable: 2.5 m USB extension. Blocks galore) The blocks density correlates with the length of the USB cable.

- Is turned on or operated when an electric consumer in a radius of 1m to the device (! Not the antenna) (although this depends on a different circuit)

- When a person is in a radius of 1 meter around the unit (not the antenna!) Moved

I asked jokingly times a laptop with DVB-T stick to the television (= receiver position) and the associated measly rod antenna to the enhanced antenna: picture perfect. So it is not at the position of the device, or the weak DVB-T signal. It is up to the miserable shielding the antenna socket of this scrap receiver.
