Facing today's musical landscape, it is not easy to describe what is pop music and who makes them. When Klee can include, then deliver it with their new album the listener example in mind may be pop music as diverse. They make up where other bands such as telephoto or edge do musically and lyrically beautiful and valuable, probably in the knowledge that this is not the first board of the Cologne Combo. You have to listen at least twice to realize that there is not shallow, always forward-facing music is made, but miteinfließen elements of chanson, synth pop, and classic singer / songwriter structures.
The focus of the music, of course, is the charming, sensual voice of Suzie, the more clearly evidenced by the wonderful texts effect.
The plate is complex, both in terms of instrumentation, as well as the music itself. Ballads alternate with uptempo pieces and a lot of nice moments remain liable. Only "other banks" seems a bit tough and orinetierungslos, the rest can convince consistently.
Contenders for record of the year? Maybe. UEFA Cup place but imo should be sure the plate.
