David Orlovsky joins together with Florian Dohrmann and Jens-Uwe Popp various elements of Klezmer at an excellent chamber music-like oeuvre. David's clarinet playing is fortunately not so much aimed at Virtouosität but on a melodic interplay with his trio partners, which also Avi Avital must not be forgotten. It gives me always a pleasure to launch one of the CDs of David Orlovsky trio. Here the good sound quality of the disc plays a role. I now own 4 Orlovsky CDs that I can highly recommend to anyone Klezmer lovers. Even David's live concerts, in my case, Bochum, are a musical treat. Gustav Doering
