Koreans can not just phones ... :-)))

Despite less good experiences, about 2 years ago, with a washing machine manufacturer, Samsung now gets a second chance!

Decision was partly because of this dryer:

1. Interesting price
2. attractive design, glass door, easy to read display (large digits + keys) etc.
3. concise u. Easy operation
4. Good choice of programs u. Function Facilities
5. Energy Class A ++
6. exchange trouble Door Reversal possible
7. relatively low operating noise of 65 dB
8. No self-cleaning of the condenser
9. LED drum lighting (if desired during the drying process can be paused)
10. condensation tube v. 2 m in delivery
11. ETM Test Magazine "good"

A few days ago the unit a few drying operations is now in Einsatz..nach here my first conclusion:
Important !!! Install the appliance correctly, all 4 feet should have firm ground contact, if the unit is not properly aligned u. A firm footing has, this can lead to noise ....

positive:

The Samsung DV80F5E5HGW, making a total of a rather sophisticated look, the operating noise is m. E. n. Completely OK and heat pump dryer typical rather than relatively comfortable to call (unit is under construction)

> Spacious shiny Diamond Care drum with 3 drivers

> The run times are in good hurled underwear (1400 U / min) tends to be shorter than specified.

> Good drying result for example in cotton "cupboard dry" already at medium drying stage

> The same applies to the previously conducted Easy-care program

has been noticed:

> It takes quite a while to actually noticeable heat in heat pump technology, but this has no adverse effect on the drying result is just simply another technique :-)

> Does not emit hot air or moisture and is only lukewarm on the outside

> The many dryers rather large leap in time (remaining term) towards the end of the drying process, unfortunately, is also present here :-(

> Lt. Samsung reverses the drum, but that's true only conditionally, because this happens only in the first 2 minutes after the program is started, and then only for a few seconds as soon as the heat pump is running, the drum is run only in one direction ... knotting large laundry items such as bed o. All in all, a device that I can recommend to date!

Hope that this will remain for quite a while as well, is the unlikely change what, I'll post it.

Addendum 17.05.2014:

On the positive side, the energy consumption and drying times, these are at good hurled underwear (1400 U / min) in the Cotton program significantly shorter and lie with a capacity of 75-80% depending on the type of washing at max. 90-120 min.

Energy consumption I have repeatedly verified by an energy meter and can therefore
say that the Samsung DV8 has a realtiv low energy consumption, which have always been below the
Manufacturers lay Labelling.
It is helpful in this case, the filters regularly to clean u. Not only when the filter indicator and prompts ..

less good, I find:

> There is no real dry state sequence display u. The remaining time display (as already mentioned) makes against program end relatively large time jumps sometimes up to an hour u. Is therefore unreliable and not very meaningful :-(
