Kreator's masterpiece!

Phantom Antichrist (Audio CD)

Customer Review

First I must say that I have never heard Kreator in the 80s, because my "thrashing" appeared simply too unimaginative and unilaterally at that time.
About Tankard and their label Nuclear Blast I then encountered recently on "Phantom Antichrist" and the two previously decoupled tracks / videos
have me at the first listen simply blown away ...

Nothing is left of the former "thrashing". Instead, present Mille & Co. here a masterpiece, which by variety, super-Solis
and putting Thrash impresses. As miss here some the "hardness" or see too much "power metal" influences, is a mystery to me honestly ...

As Anspieltips are here certainly "Phantom Antichrist" to call "civilization Collapse" and "Death to the World".
The first two tracks are found in Nuclear Blast as a video again, which is really well done, in my opinion.

But not only the music but also the lyrics are really terrific.
A single swan song for money, power, religion and the scourges of our time.

In conclusion, you just have to say this has to sound like Thrash in 2012/13 !!
Hard boards and melodic pieces here shake hands and therefore become timeless classics,
which seem to come straight from the future.

Slayer and company can cut a thick slice of creativity here!
Their last albums shine through sheer lack of imagination and repetition of the same old.

Meanwhile, I have taken the new plant as an opportunity to listen to me all Kreator albums.

Therefore, one must admit well that the disk would have been production-not as good without producer Jens Bogren.
Kreator's work with Moses Schneider has given me in this regard did not like.

Not for nothing Kreator has succeeded with this album # 1 in the US and # 5 in the German charts - and I mean that quite positive.
Kreator have really grown without currying the pop charts.

If the band maintains its producer, you could maybe deliver the next album something equal.
For I believe that has lifted this cooperation Kreator finally to "international standards".

Whether you but once again able to surpass itself with the next work, remains to be seen.
To wish it would be the Essenes definitely. You are certainly on the right track.

Phantom Antichrist is their best album to date! - Congratulations!
