The stove had a quality defect (perhaps an outlier) I had not the same complaint. The stove turned on heating the water repeatedly, so that a manual contact to an elevated temperature water (about 1 min.) Was necessary in order to avoid turning off. That bugged me though and took a toothpick so jammed the contact button in order to avoid the early off. He recently gave up his service and I had to dispose of it, after a relatively short service life. He was otherwise fine, except for the electrical system.
