Lace machine with technical refinements

As a longtime and satisfied owner of a Denon 3805 receiver I have now migrated to the new Denon X4100. Anticipation we can say that technological progress in recent years is remarkable. What Denon is now installed on features simply amazing.

As boxing two Canton Vento 890.2, and the associated rear and center speakers adorn the system. I always had to have the last year to request an amplifier, which I do not have control over a remote control. Although universal remotes like a Logitech Harmony can do much, but Samsung has in the "Smart Remote" built some really nice features, I do not want you to miss.

Bottom line, I'm with the Denon now fully satisfied as he
+ Turns on when turning on the TV. (CEC)
+ Channels on the TV channel changes. (CEC)
+ Switches off automatically after some time.
+ From the standby (!) On the original Spotify app turns on the iPhone.
+ Tonally corrected by the XT32 room analysis system my room acoustics.

== == Connect Spotify
As a loyal fan Spotify I've used a D / A converter of NuForce as Bluetooth option for my old Denon receiver. Sonically was on the Spotify app my iPhone so quite neat, but does it at the expense of the iPhone battery. While Spotify Past implementations of Denon brought its own app which was rather cumbersome as comfortable. Spotify Connect now ensures that the Denon is displayed as the source in the original Spotify app! It acts as a kind of remote control app for the Denon, which then streaming fully accepts. The app can therefore be concluded on the iPhone, or on multiple devices (iPhone / iPad / Android certainly) be used simultaneously. To my knowledge, Spotify streaming here with the quality setting "Extreme" which corresponds in Flac format about 320kbit. Nice gimmick: The current song will appear on the display of the Denon.

== Audyssey MultEQ XT 32 ==
Under hifi enthusiasts the spirits divorce in respect to a software correction of the sound. The XT 32 room analysis system has taken care of but in my case, to a significant increase in sound quality. Not least because of unfavorable acoustic properties of my living room. Lots of glass and parquet here make for tidy room Hall is well corrected from Denon. What was a bit of getting used to, it is recommended here certainly a weekend to play with the settings a bit, after some time is a true miracle of sound.

== HDMI / CEC ==
When TV is here Samsung 55HU7500 used. CEC works without any problems. It is changed to the TV channel if movies about Amazon Instant Video streamed or is switched to TV. In addition, the receiver automatically turns on the TV. The volume can be controlled via the remote control Samsung likewise.

== == Setup Wizard
The current generation of the setup wizard led the user completely simply by installing that even manual reading unnecessary. What also surprised me: The amplifier detects even wrong poled speaker cables!

== == Bass
Denon is often rumored to be a bit bass-driven than other manufacturers. Without commenting further, he has at least the option to clean subwoofer channel to be distributed to the front speakers. In my case the two Canton Ventos bring with four 18mm bass drivers a solid foundation. When one or the other scene conjures up there even without a subwoofer one or the other quakes a smile on your face.

Requirements are certainly individually, but made me the Denon more than confident. Sonically at an excellent level make the whole gadgetry for a total complete package. Therefore: strong buy recommendation!
