I have never been able to operate this unit with the TomTom app on my iPhone 4S, or even five.
The Bluetooth connections are fine though, but no improvement of the GPS signal.
Nobody could tell me (Apple, TomTom) how to solve my problem.

I canceled the sale and returned the equipment.
