Two years after the first film so there is now "Moody Blues". On the vinyl version (which, unlike the first album is present only on one disc) included a total of 13 songs. Unfortunately, there have the CD bonus tracks "In a war," "Talk to me - Part II". "Without you - Accoustic Session" and "Do not call - Accoustic Session" not make it onto vinyl. (I have the album but ordered here on Amazon, so I have these four songs after all in mp3 format for free to get a car-Rip).
"Moody Blues" covers again from different moods. There is the upbeat number "Save you", serious, profound and touching ballads such as "Mother and son" or the quite bluesy "Forget", danceable as "Do not call" and "Carry this" Retro-Soul, the could also come from Sharon Jones or Amy Winehouse.
The lyrics of "Moody Blues" has been re-written completely and sung by Y'akoto in the arrangements she was as involved creatively as well as Max Herre, Kahedi and Tom Hugo - I take my hat off this creative power. The hurdle of the "second album" is taken - and Y'akotos musical work can not again easily into a drawer. (Retro) soul, blues, pop - all that and much more is in Y'akotos new album.
From me five stars - and a new board which I am running in heavy rotation!
