I was skeptical at first, because their previous album "Born to Die" with me already caused significant signs of weariness and first cut-outs rather left an impression of uniformity with me. After I read very positive reviews in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and again heard a few excerpts, I was convinced that these women deserve my money: P
"Ultraviolance" sets "Born to Die" is not only continuing, it is a style and content development continues. The melodies are deep and the lyrics are thought through sharp-tongued in her own melancholy nature. However, the typical radio listeners or disco visitors will likely not notice, but rather imply uniformity. But who has an ear for Lana Del Rey, will love the album!
