Thee Oh Sees is an indie band from San Francisco, California, assembled by a madman named John Dwyer, serial founder of obscure groups, which certainly appreciate all this fringe combos mainly Anglo-Saxon that the Sonics to Clinic govern or have governed the advanced rock most primal garage. Competing alone Dwyer publish its discs under the most possible ill pockets. Here, one must concede that it reached a new high. But in this digipack, written to the CD, behind his garage and my face lo-fi, 10 titles were very well designed and interpreted by goldsmiths musicians of this art without which the rock would not, would not. Some tracks on this disc far exceed 5 minutes, which is not in season according to the canons of vintage garage rock, the one who in any case was not listening Can (or more lysergic yet), because the disks of these Germans were not distributed in the depths of American garages 1960s. But there is not a second too, not an ounce of superfluous over the entire duration of this record (40'40 ") particularly varied. There is method in this chaos!
