Received last week, the backup battery is essential to my sense, for anyone who owns several digital nomad objects (tablet, smartphone, digital camera ...)
At home we have 2 smartphones, iPad 2, a portable speaker that we take when starting a weekend / holiday or just on the go. Suffice to say that it's always the battle to recharge our devices when just a cigarette lighter or even ... Nothing!

Side design and footprint
-------------------------------------------
The battery looks like a small hard drive, slightly larger than a smartphone, But given the capacity tripled compared to a backup battery "standard" that's normal.
Weight aside, I was also surprised because it is a little heavy, but again that's normal, it's still a battery, the first grip is surprising, but it becomes normal once past surprise. It's not a brick either, and it allows to be easily carried in a handbag but it is not something that we take every day, here we wonder if we will need it or not .
The design is as always with RAVPower, friendly, sober enough anyway, rounded edge, quality plastic, matt black with a gray outline and the blue light bar (with 4 lights to gauge the remaining charge) is the most beautiful effect .
There are 2 load outputs (USB port) to different amperage (2.4A and 2.1A) and an input for charging the battery (micro-USB).
There is also a lamp which is operated by holding the button down alone.

In use

The battery is charged at 3/4 at the reception which allows you can use it right away.
I was able to complete the charge an iPad and a smartphone and use these objects remained carefree same time.
Slightly warm when the battery charge, but nothing abnormal, it is the case of all emergency batteries.
In addition to the cover provided is honeycombed, allowing not retain heat, so the battery was left in its pouch when in use!
One can easily check the current charge this battery by pressing the single button that shows up to 4 blue lights, precise enough to know the state of the battery and decide whether or not recharging.
To use it is simple, using the supplied cable is charged with this battery mains or PC (AC, just use the USB adapter provided with your tablet or smartphone). PC loading time is longer, which makes sense.
The charge of this battery is longer than that of a smartphone, but given his ability that makes sense and it is not annoying.
To load any device is charging via a USB cable, just take the original cable to charge the product (the cable provided with this battery is a bit short and is not compatible with Apple products .. .)
Load speed side, nothing wrong, my devices also load faster than on industry, then that is the impression I did not because I timed ...
I am delighted to have this battery, it is really useful especially when you want to reload a multiple device and there is no control available (in a train, car outside ... ).
