For Gassi's go-I think it is too heavy and too light (did not have a dog). You can not be dimmed. It is more for use in home and garden overnight. Here it is characterized by its brightness. Anyone looking for a strong lamp, is well served by the FCS-100.
This lamp has a variable beam distance (focus). The adjustment is made by rotating the head. As can easily rotate the head, and because in him special wells were milled, one-handed operation (focus adjustment with the thumb) is possible. Too much should the focus, however, not expected, because the uniformity of the illumination is only mediocre. You light up a wall, you can see rings.
The switching on and off is provided by a push button on the lamp bottom, this however you need then a second hand. With a sliding or push button on the side, the hand operation would be perfect - but it has not.
What definitely missing: a bracelet, with which you can fix the lamp on the wrist. Especially with this heavy lamp that would be desirable.
Anyone looking for information from the manufacturer, will not find anything on the Duracell site. Lamps have their own side, namely Duracell light (with a com behind).
The scope of supply: The lamp is offered by various MarketPlace retailers. My dealer provided not in the blister (as shown), but in bubble wrap. But also batteries were then doing, however. Fortunately, I have not had bought.
Because of the lack of tether and not entirely uniform illumination I give only 4 points. Otherwise, there's a strong buy recommendation for those looking for a large, heavy and very bright flashlight.
