The lamp is meticulously crafted and is the aluminum case well in hand. I think the weight pleasantly, the lamp is wertig, but not heavy. My friend, however, would find a lighter lamp better - that's a matter of taste.
The luminous performance is very good in my eyes. You can not focus the lamp. To me it does not lack, the lamp is quite a large area, but the center area is clearly emphasized so that one easily can shine in the distance also 20-30m. It depends of course also depends on the setting. I use usually the second-weakest level for my dog walks. As batteries I use Enelop batteries. I'll be more than 60h before I have to change the batteries, so I am very satisfied. It was also important to me to be able to change the battery yourself and not having to rely on a built-in battery.
Therefore I forgive 5 stars. The lamp can turn night into day as needed, even rain can not harm it and it gives light to last very bright.
