The headlight comes directly in front of the bike until the distance a very large area fairly evenly. In the city you can tell the difference not so much. However, anyone who is even on a road with no street lights on the road, will love the better Lichtenfeld this lamp. Even in a totally dark forest trails can easily drive with this lamp, without having to be afraid, some to overlook an obstacle.
=== === Positive
+ Very bright
+ More uniform illumination (compared to its predecessor)
+ Light cone starts right at the wheel (close-range illumination)
+ Nevertheless reach when adjusting accordingly the lamp
+ Very wide beam (about twice as wide as the Cyo without "Premium" Lights 20m in front of the bike about two lanes out when you drive in the center on the road)
+ Sensor function works well (you no longer have to worry about the lights turn on and it can therefore no longer forgotten)
+ But the capacitor-assisted parking light is significantly brighter than cheap bulbs in full operation
=== === Negative
- No reflector (must be installed separately, if you want to drive Highway Code compliant)
- Flickers, at less than 8 km / h (ie when you push the wheel)
Conclusion:
If you already have one of the older CYO models for the transition probably not really worth. Anyone looking for a new projector for the bike, for this is the place for the right. Especially the price / performance ratio is unrivaled good.
PS: A little tip: If you want to retrofit the missing reflector possible discreetly, can simply stick a strip of reflective foil on the head tube. The is also available in black (white reflecting)!
