This CD is actually pop screen - once again no uniformity: but this change took some time and patience to please me. Was the predecessor 'Sensation current' still incredibly catchy, I found it hard at first to hear the CD after the first run again - but was still too little hanging. However, it is worth a little persistence, because Stoppok has many textual and musical pearls once again: Together with his band and the support of many well-known 'great musicians' as Astrid North (vocals), Steve Baker (Harp) or Martin Huch (Dobro) has emerged a little late rousing album. It's very bluesy, peppered with plenty of wit and of course Stoppok-typical stories from everyday life - critical, partly pensive ("who goes in a circle to save the way back") but always good. Stoppoks version of Power Plant 'The Model' is the only song on which he has not written. A small musical candy with quite cool groove ... and it fits lyrically somehow Stoppoks critical observation. The sound of the album is really not as good as its predecessors, the album could have been sharper sound - perhaps deliberately, in order to underline the bluesy sound? A little getting used to but not as negative for me as my Mitrezensent it feels.
Conclusion: If groovy blues with German lyrics, cool word play, humor and meaningful 'ner pinch' Message 'searches may not pass on this CD.
