I liked the CD from the beginning, despite that it is different from what than anything had done before Sepultura. This groovy Sepultura really liked because of the groove does not affect overweight and for me still remains enough Trash temperament.
There are several highlights and places where the music is immersed in muddy boredom. Although the music never sounds particularly muddy, but such a feeling is about. Max is harshly as ever and the rest of the band has emphasized a thrilling charge with a mix of the song and the guitar. Igor is in his element, because the music is slower, he has to be more space to really creative. "Refuse / Resist" is a strong beginning, which reflects the quality of the album as a whole. "Territory" grinds down everything that gets in the way.
"Slave New World" is the reasonable continuation of the previous track. The first three items are very good. In "Amen" that is taken up again. This song makes an admirable attempt to produce a flowing atmosphere of question and rejection. "Kaiowas" shows the new face of the album because acoustic guitars and tribal drums, added to castle walls, an emotional passion and wealth build tool.
"Propaganda" is the title trashigste until then. Deliciously brutal and evil. "Biotech is Godzilla" is shorter and faster. A wild, barbaric sound dominates the rest of the album from "Nomad". As an animal stalking his victim, each book is rushed through. It sounds interesting and works. If tribal undertones and harmonious guitars included in the mainly instrumental "We Who Are Not As Others", the album could actually come to a good conclusion, without losing anything. But Sepultura have chosen the season with some filler to extend. The experimental narrative at the beginning of "Manifesto" is a bit dry, although it is very entertaining and a nice and quick addition to the album.
