About the story you have probably not say anything: The Years 1 - 4 were implemented playing technique.
Each year, about six different missions, or to the movies to books fit. Very nice, I think that several parts were packed into a game and the circumference is still gigantic.
The gameplay is simple: You move your character through the world of "Harry Potter" and can learn spells, collect money to unlock characters and buy, collect golden stones, as well as parts of Hogwarts crest. Here everything was almost done properly, an open world that you can explore, with selectable missions, endless side quests and more characters that you can freely play with many different skills. Very nice, I also find that many characters from the books are about that did not make it, for example, in the films.
Unfortunately, the sensitivity of the spells is very high, so it is very often that you anzaubert his colleagues what annoys Real after a while!
But the great thing about the game is not only the countless things to unlock and the huge world, no. The Legos were very great to the game: At every corner you can destroy and re-assemble things. The most diverse types of vehicles, brooms and much, much more, the makers were very creative here!
Unfortunately, this is also the sticking Punk: Halfway through the game, the principle is through. Everything seems to repeat itself, at some point, the tasks that you have to fulfill, only sober and boring time wasters. The boss fights are a bit lax and really new is after a few hours, only the newest character that you unlock. Even if one thinks that a Lego game but would certainly offer endless possibilities, so amn is in the end very disappointed how everything is linear.
In addition, many technical errors are a problem: Small bugs (game bug) sneak always a, the most famous is the sudden Stuck, sometimes you hanging in the middle stuck in a rock, or a character is too far back and is therefore unable to continue, and then the level must be restarted: annoying!
New and fresh, however, are the great and funny cut scenes, which "Lego Harry Potter" funk up the well-known story and converts without dialogues. Of course, one does not understand, if you had never anything to do with Harry & Co, but I do not think that a newbie Potter dares directly to this game ...
About the music: Very great, because here the original score of John Williams and Patrick Doyle was taken (the composer of the first four films, obviously). A perfect fit, partly because the Pottermsuik in my eyes (or ears) is simply a dream, on the other hand, I think that a separate Game Soundtrack would have taken the feeling.
Conclusion: On the whole, a solid game, but which it clearly is missing after a time of variety and depth. I hope that the next part mended this error ...
However, overall the Game has a lot of scope, a free erkunbare world, a very nice Harry Potter feel and tons of well-known and popular characters, definitely recommended for younger Potter fans!
